Gmail Storage Cleanup Guide

�� Step 1: Check Storage Usage

View space used by Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Photos.

�� Step 2: Clean Up Gmail

1. Delete large emails with attachments

In the Gmail search bar, enter:

has:attachment larger:10M

�� This will show emails with attachments over 10MB.

✔ Delete unwanted emails

✔ Go to Trash and empty it permanently.

2. Clear Promotions and Social tabs

Search category:promotions to delete marketing emails.

Search category:social to delete social media notifications.

3. Empty Spam and Trash folders

Go to Spam and Trash.

Tap Delete All to free up space.

�� Step 3: Clean Up Google Drive

You will see files sorted by size.

Delete large files such as PDFs, videos, or unused documents.

�� Step 4: Clean Up Google Photos (If Used)

Delete unwanted photos or videos.

Don’t forget to empty the Trash.

�� Step 5 (Optional): Upgrade Storage

If you often run out of space, consider subscribing to Google One:

Plans start at 100GB and can be shared with family.
