How to choose a deposit/withdrawal network
How to Choose a Deposit/Withdrawal Network?
When you deposit or withdraw funds on McnEx, you must select the correct deposit/withdrawal network. Otherwise, your assets may be permanently lost. To put it simply: choose roads for cars, railways for trains, and waterways for ships. Your method of travel must match the route; otherwise, you cannot proceed.
How to Choose the Correct Network?
Here, we use the most common digital asset, USDT deposit, as an example for demonstration.
Important Note Before You Start:
When selecting a deposit network, the withdrawal network from other exchanges or wallets must be identical to the deposit network on McnEx. For example, if you choose USDT-ERC20 as your deposit network, you must also select USDT-ERC20 for withdrawal. Failure to match will result in permanent loss of funds.
Deposit Tutorial (Using the McnEx App as an Example)
1. Open the McnEx App, go to Assets → Overview → Deposit.
2. Select the currency USDT.
3. Choose a deposit network. McnEx currently supports the following USDT networks:
◦ USDT-ERC20
◦ USDT-TRC20
You may choose either network. Please note that network speed, security, and fees vary by blockchain, just like travel time and safety differ by route. As long as you select the correct network, your deposit will arrive successfully.
Example Comparison of Common USDT Networks
• USDT-TRC20: Fast speed, low fees — suitable for small‑value deposits/withdrawals.
• USDT-ERC20: Relatively more secure, but slower processing and higher fees — suitable for large‑value deposits/withdrawals.
After selecting your deposit network, copy your McnEx deposit address.
Open your other platform or wallet, select Withdraw, paste the copied address into the required field, fill in the information as prompted, and confirm to complete your deposit.
